Leadership Institute
New Life is passionate about investing in the next generation of ministry leaders. This program is designed for college students to provide exposure and experience for developing a foundation for your calling. Our program includes two levels of leadership development.
There will be an interview with a representative from the Pastoral Team.
The semester-long commitment includes:
Attending Sunday service weekly
Serving on the Life Team weekly on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening.
Participating in monthly leadership training.
Serving or observing at various events.
Semester Internship
Experience a transformative 12-week summer internship designed specifically for college students seeking to develop their leadership skills in a church environment. This program blends hands-on ministry experience with professional development, perfect for students exploring pastoral ministry or church leadership roles. You'll gain practical experience in pastoral leadership, volunteer team management, and staff ministry collaboration while being fully immersed in church life.
The summer-long commitment includes:
— Internship cohorts — walk alongside fellow interns through a summer of personal, leadership, and spiritual development
— Serving and leading LIFEteams
— Serving, planning and observing All-Church events
— Participating in New Life’s yearly planning week
— One on One mentorship with a pastoral team member
— Approximately 30-40 hours per week, paid internship
